I Am Free
Spring from the fountain and water from the well
Food from the garden, and voices sing to tell
I am free, I can fly, I can be the sun up in the sky
I can laugh and I can cry
Whoa when it's empty, I'm gonna fill it up
and I got a job, just to keep it up
bring out a jug and I'll wash my cup
and when it's empty I'm gonna fill it up, fill it up for you
I love I love this life it's living easy free
and when it looks like it gets hard, it's just me
I am free I can fly, I can be the sun up in the sky
I can laugh and I can cry
Whoa When it's empty I'm gonna fill it up
and I got a job just to keep it up
bring out a jug, I'll wash my cup
and when it's empty i'm gonna fill it up, fill it up for you
You know how I feel, when I dream my dream is real
Spinning on the wheel, understanding how I feel
I am free...
Shine On
There's people here, people there, people laughing everywhere
it's funny, everybody everywhere
I can hear the sunshine, I can feel the moonshine
I can hear the sunshine, I can feel the moonshine
Shine On
All the kids are in the streets, dancin to the music beat
it's lovely, everybody, everywhere
I can hear the sunshine, I can feel the moonshine
I can hear the sunshine, I can feel the moonshine
Shine On
I hear the buzzin of the bees, the birds are singing in the trees
it smells sunny, in the air
I can hear the sunshine, I can feel the moonshine
I can hear the sunshine, I can feel the moonshine
Shine On
The cars go by without a clue, so busy so much to do
It's foggy, maybe smoggy in the air.
Old Mexico
I wish I were walking through a tropical garden down near the gulf of old mexico
I'd play my guitar in an old spanish bar whispering tunes that nobody would know
One way you look at your life you feel like your a slave
The other way seems to be right, you have to be so brave
We want to do everything right so some of us are saved
I'd like to go sailing on strong winds prevailing, blowing away the evil today
Truth love and happiness, it's good to have kindness, turn to all the others now and say
I'ts time to wise up, how do you feel about living for love in this fantasy.....so real
One way you look at your life you may feel that your a slave
the other way seems to be right, but you have to be so brave
we want to do everything right so some of us are saved
I wish I were walking through a tropical garden down near the gulf of old mexico.
And The Rain
If I could only catch up, to the things that happen in my dreams
Maybe it wouldn't turn out right, but that's not the way it seems
And the rain keeps pourin' over me, to wash my sins away
but if the sun should shine upon me, it would be a glorious day
A runion on such a night by any other means just wouldn't be right
A serious mix of laughter and wit, all the puzzle peices of this life seem to fit
And the rain.......
The wind is howlin in my ears, as i think about my friends
with tears and love for those we've lost, but always one day we'll see again
and the rain.......
Rise Up
Rise up, greet the dawn
Rise up, bad feelings are gone
Take it easy, let your heart beat strong
Take it easy let your heart beat strong
The sun is risin, over the hill
A new day is dawning, it's time to go
Rise up....
River flow, take it slow
Feel the water, fill your soul
Rise up...
It always feels like
You've been here before
well maybe you were
It's a cylce you know
Rise up...
Hear the people
Heal the world
Save our souls
Save the world
Take Me To The Mountains
My grandpa had a cabin in the woods when I was just a boy
To spend a few days and nights filled my heart with joy
Catchin toads, snakes and lizards, swimmin at the otter hole
build a dam in the creek with my grandma, you could swimm right across the road, across the road
Take me to the mountains, Take me to them good old rollin hills
Show me a ripplin stream where the music never dies
I'll be singin' and playin' there for a while
We had waterfalls behind the house that we used to shower by
A mountain of pine to hike up through, lord they made me feel so fine
There was a pond by the little spring house, one day i just fell in
I was tryin to catch a dream, but the dream started to spin, started to spin.
Take me to the mountains....
Everyone has a cabin in the woods, even if it's not really there
For in our hearts live memories that we like to share
So hold on tight when things get bad and remember that lovely place
Then go on out to make a new one to fill in the empty space, the empty space.
Take me to the mountains.....
I Hit the Ground
I can't sleep in this old and tired bed
It don't fit my bones no more
And every time I try to lay em down, I hit the Ground
As I feel these weary bones my god did sow
With the plow out in the fields they would go
Now every time I try to lay em down
I hit the ground
So I'll follow the sun, stars and the moon
I'll follow them over this dusty dune
And when I see that golden shore
I know I'll be home soon
Now when the cycle finally comes around
I will let it carry me
The only way I can stand the pain
Is to wash it to the sea
I'm Ready To Go
I hear the bloomin of the petals in spring
I can smell the scent of a rose
I can hear the sound of everything
And I'm thinkin of my darlin, She knows
I love her and I'll be there when
She's all ready to go
I love her and I'll be there when
She's all ready to go
I'm goin to the mountains, gonna sing me a song
A song that comes rollin through the hills
Get all the folks back to the land
Where they won't have to pay so many bills
We'll work on the land with our own two hands, Honey I'm ready to go
We'll work on the land with our own two hands, Honey I'm ready to go
Come With Me
Meet Me On The Moon
Dancing with My Baby
Carry Me Home
While I Was Dreaming
Move Out of Town
When All The Chips are Down
C'mon In
Lead Me Through
Makin' Music
The Fields of Green
When the Engineer Gets To Know His Whistle
Oh Susquehanna
