History continued,

Around 2003 I started to have requests from friends and neighbors to do small fix-it and carpentry jobs. Early 2005, I finally officialy started Harrison Carpentry in Altoona, PA. I survived almost a year on word of mouth.  My wife and I then relocated to State College, PA so she could finish school. I found work initially as a music teacher at R.M. Sides Family Music Center until I was able to drum up enough business to return to Harrison Carpentry full-time. I still supplement my income with teaching and have managed to stay in business full-force till present. I thank all who have hired me and helped me along the way and hope to continue for years to come.-MLH

  History

It all started with my grandfather and his gift for building things in his wood shop and inspiring me to be creative in this field. He helped me get a job in a cabinet making factory with various positions on the assembly line In 1995. In 2001 I had my first construction job in Washington state as a carpenter. Since then I have worked for several contractors as a carpenter in PA.

"My Mind, my Eyes and my Hands are my three main tools, Honesty and Integrity are my two main assets, and leaving a Lasting and Positive Impression is my main goal"
